Bunk Room Ideas
A Bright and Cheery spot for our Bright and Bubbly Gal! We're chatting up Roo's Bunk Room today and how this space makes the entire fam happy....most importantly Roo! With all the decisions we made while designing our home, one was certain....Campbell wanted a Bunk Room
The Summer Dining
When we were building our home, we knew very early on we wanted a wrap around porch. Since moving into our home, our screened in porch has quickly become one of our favorite spots to hang as a family. We’ve already outfitted the space with a daybed swing and seating area, but we also wanted a space where we could dine al fresco, and do so without breaking the bank. Here’s the deal, gang, I’m gonna let you in on a secret well known fact…….building a house is a costly little undertaking. Last I checked our property didn’t have a money tree on it, which is why I knew this little area was PERFECT for that high low mix. And lucky for us, walmart.com has totally elevated their home game
Little Ladies, Ivivva by Lululemon
Coming ‘atcha live with my two main gals. Now that we’re in the thick of summer, there’s truly no place the three of us would rather be than romping around outdoors. Whether it’s walking the Zionsville Rail Trail, hitting up the park, going on a run with Chaser in prep for cross country season, watching Roo practicing her gymnastics and dancing, or just kicking it around town….ivivva by lululemon is no doubt our favorite active wear threads of choice
The Tween Nest
As I'm teeing up this post, I'm realizing Chase should've totally been today's author. Because no one can convey the love of her new bedroom better than she. If y'all may recall on move in day we only had her Bed from Birch Lane outfitted and well, based on her reaction (read: sheer and utter squeal worthy excitement), she was and still is simply over the moon
The 2017 Highlights Reel
So I think it's pretty safe to say that 2017 will go down as one of my best years yet! Not quite sure how 2018 can even begin to hold a candle to the birth of our sweet little bundle, John adopting the bunnies, or mom and pip making the cover of Redbook! It was a whirlwind of year but in the most beautiful way imaginable
Our Adoption Story: We Are the Chappos
Man, gang, this one overwhelms me right from the start. Probably more so than Calvin's Birthstory, our Wedding Day, or any of my other personal posts. I'd say it's because October 18th was a day I never really thought imaginable I suppose. For those of you that have followed s + s for sometime, you're well aware of our journey...and you've been supportive as hell throughout it all. But for those of you that are new, I won't dwell on the past, but the gals and I have overcome our fair share of heartache in recent year's past
Sealed with a School Kiss
We're about two weeks into the Back to School scene, and I think we've finally gotten into our groove. We've all adjusted to the earlier morning wake up call, the afternoon activities, and the nighttime hustle. A solid rhythm indeed. The bunnies have been a little more into their fashion scenes this year than year's past
Summer Gets Schooled
In light of our summer coming to close (I know--tragic isn't it), I wanted to give a little family update as we are on the brink of M A N Y changes here in the near future. First and foremost, this summer has been one of my absolute favorites
The Family Photoshoot
Isn't the time leading up to family pictures so wonderful? No. No it's not. Not at all. It never fails I turn into a bit of a gremlin as we're trying to get ready to get out the door
The New Chapter
Oh goodness, gang, has this post been a long one in the making! We'll get to the new site revamp here in a bit, but first, how 'bout a little status update on yours truly.
